Vis à Vis announces new open air theatre spectacle: MARE
Vis à Vis’s artistic team is thrilled to announce their new open air performance for the 2017 season: MARE. Vis à Vis appointed Swiss director Tom Ryser, recognising his experience in opera, musicals and circus. Featuring a water basin filled with over 1 million liters of water, live music and breath taking fire and water special effects. The season opens for previews on 7 June 2017.
About MARE: Rising sea levels, caused by global warming, have flooded the entire earth. Cities are swallowed by the rising waters. The remains of civilization are a handful of people on small islands trying to survive in this apocalyptic world.
